We offer a free trial period for most Autonomous products. For oversized products including XL SmartDesks, XL tabletops, SmartDesk corner, and the products offered by our third-party vendors, a different trial and return policy may apply. The sales item is not eligible for return.


To process a Return:


  1. Return requests must be submitted via this form within the trial window.
  2. Photographic evidence showing products are still in “like-new” condition, and have been properly packaged into original packaging must be provided. All items must be returned in the original packaging. Very important: Without the original packaging, items can be damaged during return transit.
  3. Once approved, we’ll issue an RMA number and a return shipping label. Return authorizations expire 30 days after approval.
  4. You can either choose to bring the package to the local carrier center to return to Autonomous or call the carrier directly to arrange a pickup but Autonomous will not cover the pickup fee if any.
  5. Returns are typically inspected and processed within 5 business days of receipt.
  6. We’ll issue a refund to your original payment method once we process your return. Most returns are processed within 5 business days of receipt. Refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
  7. Autonomous has the right to deny a refund if your returned package(s) is dropped off at the carrier center a month after your trial period ends.
